At the beginning of this school year; our school vision, school values and school mission statement were all reviewed. We spent the first term in school becoming familiar with these and creating a beautiful display in the dining room to highlight our values.
In November, and again in February; we focused upon two of the values (respect and inclusiveness) and talked at assembly and in class about how we could live out these values. In our small school, we are very fortunate that our pupils display values such as respect and kindness to others, on a daily basis. Pupils who demonstrated the chosen values during the months in question were highlighted and praised. Some children were chosen by staff as consistently and regularly living by our chosen values, and received a certificate for their efforts. Well done to Conal and Ryan who were awarded a certificate for their inclusive nature.
During the month of April, we will focus upon a different value.
