The Irish Bishops have asked us all to pray for an end to the humanitarian crisis which we are witnessing in the Holy Land. In particular they have asked that Friday 6th June be a day of prayer and fasting in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
To mark this day all classes visited the chapel to light candles and say prayers for peace. The older children thought about things they could fast from, to help us reflect on the innocent people caught in this horror.
