Matthew McBride Memorial Tournament
11th Jun 2026
On Wednesday 3rd June our pupils travelled to Plumbridge for the fourth Matthew McBride Memorial Tournament. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we had a great day.
Joined with the pupils from St. Peter’s our two teams- Y4/5 and Y6/7 played their hearts out and their efforts resulted in the winning of the cup sections of both competition. This is the first time in the history of the tournament that we have won both sections. Well done to Clara who was awarded a spot prize for her efforts on the day. A big well done to all involved, to the McBride family and Glenelly GFC for an enjoyable day out.
