Following a week of practical Maths games for homework activities, our Maths Week celebrations continued with all children taking in some loose change from home. We used this change to carry out lots of practical maths. We arranged the coins in straight lines, estimated and measured to find the longest line. We counted money, sorted money and talked about how many coins were needed to fill different money bags.
Thank you to all parents who sent in loose change. It will be counted and donated to ‘Friends of St. Brigid’s’ with the intent of purchasing a basketball net.
